2010 NRL Season Preview - Wests Tigers

by B.Cougar

"I'd like hearken back to my hard hat blue collar days of yore on the lahwis scene to provide you with this season's West's Tigers preview. Stay with me here friends. Looking through the team line up I see a lot of potential.

You got big red up front, Keith Galloway. The more you drink the better this bloke looks and the longer he stays on the dance floor (or injury free) the more likely he is to get picked up by a NSW selector.

Robbie Farah is your typical sydney chick. All fluff and bluster with the hair and nails, dancing around with one drink all night and making themselves get noticed. When it comes go time they rely on their cousins to get them out of a jam and at the end of the day lack the substance to make the step up in class away from the punchy.

Benji Marshall is everyone's favourite little party girl. A firecracker that always delivers but you wonder whether they got the staying power to last out the recovery party without going all jelly head on you. When they go the distance there are none better.

Gareth Ellis is your typical pommy backpacker. Knows the trade inside out and is here to put up big numbers before going back to England.

Now Chris Lawrence is an interesting bird. Knows how to light it up at the local and there are none faster at getting to the bar and back with some sweet shots, but the jury is out on whether they can get the same results in the cabana poolside at the Ivy.

Finally, for comic relief you got the partners in crime back together. Bryce Gibbs (pictured below right) is a cross-dresser and Liam Fulton the hag (pictured below left). Together good for a laugh and always bring something to the table but watch out for surprises.

All in all this team has more entertainment potential than the lingerie football league. Will be absolutely spectacular to watch all year and we definitely hope to see them at the 'Enchantment under September dance'. I think they are more likely to win Miss Congeniality than Miss Australia though as there are some pretty good sorts in the NRL mansion".

  1. i have no respect for P. Cougar's comments on rugby league and request that GGOA removes any future feature pieces. P. Cougar is a man who believes that Rugby League was better when it was played by overweight part timers with the rukes closer the UFC pre the outlawing of head butting and kneeing an opponent in the head while on the ground.

    P. cougar should focus more on making a tight fitting St george jersey fit comfortably than ruining fellow legue fans viewing experiance by retelling stories from the olden days

The tigers are a shot at the top eight and could well take out a title given their attacking flare, could you please post some decent rugby league commentary
