Imagine this team's end of season drinks. Seriously, just picture it for a minute......... You see debauchery and mayhem? Same here.
Moving on. Let's chime in to the Titans back-line and run on to the positives for season 2010.
With the kind of outside backs at his disposal this year, Scott Prince can make any football fantasy come true. Arguably the best halfback in the competition over the past 3 years and the emotional leader of this young club.
Best 7 in the game?
William Zillman is a star in waiting. I remember watching him as a halfback in the lower grades a few years ago. He came up to Sydney for a semi final with the Raiders and tore the opposition to shreds with Bronx Goodwin at fullback. They were lethal. Poor Raiders.
By gum the Titans will be entertaining. Joseph Tomane will add more attacking options and Greg Bird is about to have the season of his life. Just on that, remember Bird's form before his dramas began? Sizzling. Now he is playing outside Prince to form a combination that could prove to be the best scrum base in the NRL.
Non-Sydney teams have a knack of showing unity.
Still some questions to ask though.
Will Nathan Friend average 145 tackles a game this year? Probably
Are their fowards up for the challenge with limited depth? remains to be seen.
How will Sharks fans welcome Greg Bird when the Titans travel to Toyota Park? We'll find out in round 25.
Will Brad Meyers win another facial hair growing competition? If he can bring this nasty bastard back for 2010, then absolutely.
Will the rabid Robina crowd from last year's semi against the Broncos turn up again this year? Hope so - you could feel the atmosphere right through the TV that night.
Frothing at the mouth.
Tip - Disciplined, united and exciting. That combination deserves a semi final spot and they will get one.
X Factor – Greg Bird. Is about to have the best season of his career.
Premiership odds - $11.00. Absolutely worth a shot and a trip to Wet and Wild with the winnings.
Breakout season - David Mead. Not just a quick outside back. Has a chance to become a weapon in 2010.
